Club Tax Printers FINAL
ICLUBcentral is pleased to announce that final forms are now available in all of our Investment Club State Tax Printers for all States: AZ, CA, CO, GA, IA, IN, MA, MD, MN, MO, NJ, NY, PA, WI. Each of the 14 states we offer is finalized and approved by the appropriate states.
This means that you can prepare your club state and Federal tax filings as soon as you have closed your club's books and received your 1099 from your brokerage firm (which are to be mailed by the firm no later than February 15, 2009).
To update your pre-purchased Club Tax Printer, follow these instructions:
Club Accounting 3: After purchasing and installing the 2008 Federal Tax Printer software, open Club Accounting 3 and click on the Taxes tab at the top of the window. Make sure you are connected to the Internet, and select "2008 Tax Printers" from the drop-down menu. The Auto-Updater feature will then download the FINAL forms and you can prepare your club's Federal taxes
myiclub.com: All software updates are automatic for myiclub.com users. After purchasing and installing the 2008 Federal Tax Printer software, make sure you are connected to the Internet and click on the Taxes tab at the top of the myiclub.com window. Select "2008 Tax Printers," and the software will automatically access the FINAL forms, allowing you to begin to prepare your club's Federal taxes.
If you have not yet purchased your ICLUBcentral Federal and State Tax Printers Order Today! Filing Club Taxes is mandatory and your club could incur hefty fines per member per each month you are behind on filing.

We’ve all heard the phrase: History Repeats Itself. And, if we make an honest appraisal of our lives, each of us can find places along the way where we have repeated mistakes – either our own, or ones of those who came before us.

Many of us have vowed never to repeat the mistake of overextending ourselves with credit, of taking on a home loan that was beyond our means, or of assuming that our job would always be
Sometimes, it’s public, as it was for President Obama and Chief Justice John Roberts last week when, after both managed to stumble over the official words of the Oath of Office as they appear in the Constitution, Roberts administered the oath a second time later that evening. It’s happened twice before – previous presidents Calvin Coolidge and Chester A. Arthur also repeated the oath for similar reasons. If Obama is elected to a second term, you can bet that the Chief Justice and President Obama will take great care to repeat the words in their proper order.
If we are willing students, history does indeed offers great lessons. What, then, might we learn from past recessions that could shed light on prudent actions that we might take during the current economic downturn? How about opportunity, for starters?
