ICLUBcentral, INC. APPOINTS DOUGLAS GERLACH PRESIDENT AND MEMBER OF BOARD OF DIRECTORS

Cambridge, MA – ICLUBcentral Inc. today announced the appointment of Douglas Gerlach, the company's Vice President of Investing Products, to the position of President and member of the Board of Directors.

ICLUBcentral develops software and other tools for investment clubs and individual investors. The company is the market leader in investment club accounting software and web services, and is the leading provider of fundamental-based stock analysis software for long-term investors. ICLUBcentral's club accounting programs are used by the majority of investment clubs and investing partnerships in the U.S.

Gerlach steps into his new role after overseeing the launch of a new release of one of the company's flagship software programs, Club Accounting 3 for Windows. Club Accounting 3 was launched in June 2005, and provides bookkeeping and accounting tools for investment clubs and investing partnerships. More than 60,000 investment clubs since 1989 have used ICLUBcentral's Club Accounting software to manage their books, and Club Accounting 3 provides more features and greater ease of use to streamline a club's operations.

In his position as President, Gerlach will oversee all aspects of the company's daily operations, supporting an established user base of individual investors and investment clubs with new and improved software products and programs.

"Since ICLUBcentral Inc. was founded in 2000, we have made steady, continual progress in our aim of building a market leader that serves the needs of investors and investment clubs," said Robert Brooker, Chairman of ICLUBcentral. "We now have leading technology and one of the largest customer bases of investors in the United States and United Kingdom. With his creativity, ever-present sense of innovation and understanding of the needs of long-term oriented investors, I am confident that Doug Gerlach will lead ICLUBcentral towards greater success in the future,"

Gerlach's association with ICLUBcentral dates back several years. In fact, he founded ICLUBcentral.com, a web site devoted to investment clubs, in 1997. Actifunds acquired the site in 2001 and then renamed itself ICLUBcentral Inc.

Gerlach continues to serve as Editor-in-Chief of the company's Investor Advisory Service newsletter, a position he has held since 2004 when ICLUBcentral acquired the newsletter. IAS continued its superior performance record for a fifth consecutive year in 2004, posting a gain of 14.1% for its portfolio picks, compared to a gain of 12.6% for the Wilshire 5000 Index. Each year since 2000, the Investor Advisory Service has outpaced the overall market, generating a 12.4% annual return compared to the Wilshire 5000's -1.1% annual loss. In the nine years ending January 31, 2005, the IAS gained 14.1% a year, compared to 9.1% for the Wilshire 5000.

"I have always believed that individuals learn best by doing," said Gerlach. "When it comes to investing, that means joining an investment club, or using software like Investor's Toolkit or Take Stock that can help you to make your own decisions about a stock's future potential, or getting great advice from a trusted, independent resource, like the Investor Advisory Service. Whichever route you choose, ICLUBcentral has the tools you need to invest successfully. I'm proud to be a part of ICLUBcentral and hope to continue the company's track record of serving investors."

A long-time investment education advocate and online investing pioneer, Gerlach founded financial site Investorama.com in 1995, and has penned several books on investing, including Investment Clubs for Dummies, The Armchair Millionaire and The Complete Idiot's Guide to Online Investing. He was a contributing editor for Mutual Funds Magazine, and wrote articles for Individual Investor, PC World and other publications. He has been featured in numerous programs and publications, including BusinessWeek, The Wall Street Journal, Individual Investor, Boston Globe, New York Times, Worth, CNNfn, and Yahoo! FinanceVision. Gerlach's websites have garnered accolades from Forbes, Barron's, Money Magazine, The Economist, US News & World Report, and Fortune.

Long affiliated with BetterInvesting (formerly known as NAIC), the 200,000-member non-profit organization that provides investment education for investment clubs and individual investors, Gerlach co-founded the organization's Web site in 1995 and served for nearly nine years as a Director of its Computer Group Advisory Board. Gerlach is a popular speaker at Investors Fairs and workshops held by BetterInvesting Chapters and other organizations across the country and around the world, from Honolulu to Berlin.
