MERGER: ATT and SBC followed by SBC name change to ATT

Issue:

On 11/18/95 ATT merged with SBC. This is complicated by the fact that on 12/1/05, SBC is changing its name to ATT and will be using the T ticker symbol.

Cause:

n/a

Resolution:

ATT merges with SBC on 11/18/05.
Merge ratio is 0.77942 shares SBC per 1 share old ATT

1. Enter the merger with shares received, including fraction.
For example, if you owned 100 shares of ATT, you would end up with 77.942 shares of SBC. Include the fractional share cash.

2. After the merger, edit the ticker for old ATT so that it says T1 instead of T

3. Then, on 12/1/05, rename SBC to New ATT, and change the ticker symbol to T.

In remarks, say result of SBC-ATT merger 11/18.

Note: Clubs that did not own ATT previously do not use these directions. The ratio for these clubs is 1 to 1, so they only need to change the name and ticker symbol in the profile.
