On 08/28/2017, Amazon.com completed their merger with Whole Foods. This was an acquisition merger; Amazon shareholders do not make any entries; Whole Foods shareholders simply enter a sale of all the shares held by the club, for whatever amount of money the club received. If the club was charged any sort of fee in connection with the merger, that fee can be entered as part of the sale of Whole Foods.
