Hello,
We have done some work on this end, and you should now be able to get back in to Toolkit6.
The issue was with the Roster of Quality Companies that Toolkit tries to download from the stockcentral web site. Due to the nature of the issue, you *might*, over the next 24 hours, see a message from Toolkit that it tried to download a new Roster of Quality, but ran into a problem with your StockCentral credentials, or your internet connection.
If you see this error, please click OK (sometimes you may need to click OK twice) to dismiss it, and gain access to Toolkit.
You can check if the data service is working, by starting a new stock study on a company that you do not already have in your library. Some popular ticker symbols to test with are: (F), and (FORD), as they are not commonly held stocks.
If you can start a new study for one or both of these stocks, then your subscription is working correctly.
Thank you, |

Good Morning David,
Please follow instructions below to help resolve error.
When starting a new stock study, you may see an error box with the message " Runtime Error 9, subscript out of range." Clicking OK on this box closes the ssg, and Toolkt.
To date, we have seen two reasons for this happening. The most common is when entering manual data for a company, in the following circumstances:
1. A new stock study is started, and Manual Data Entry is chosen when asked for a data source.
2. You fill in some information, but not the ticker symbol box, and then click OK.
3. After clicking OK, Toolkit will close the Data window, and then open the Company Locator. Any stock chosen at this point will cause a runtime error 9 if you click OK.
The easiest way to avoid the error is to always make sure to enter the ticker when using manual data entry, even if the symbol is fake. If you forget to do this, simply click the Cancel button when the Company Locator window appears.
The other case we have seen is when updating foreign stocks while the price feed is set to ICLUBcentral.
To check and correct this, go to Preferences in the Options menu.
On the first screen that comes up, take a look next to Price Feed; make sure this is set to Yahoo! (20 min delay)
Click OK, and then update the prices again; you should not run into the error again.
