The Performance report is split into two sections:

The first section matches your club’s Compound Annual Return figures over several time periods against two of several indexes and a specific company ticker, if you choose. Both show the club return for various time periods: A custom date that can be set using the from and to options at the bottom of the report page, the lifetime of the club, and then set intervals of 1, 3, 5, and 10 years. When looking at the report, keep in mind that the 1, 3, 5, and 10 year columns rely on calendar year data. No matter when during a year you look at the report, it only uses data from completed years. On December 28th of 2025 for example, the 1 year column report would still be using 01/01/2024 to 01/01/2025 for the return calculation.

The second section matches your club's performance vs. other clubs in our system. Your club is matched up to: All Clubs, clubs within a range of portfolio valuations, and clubs within a certain age range. As with the comparison to certain indexes, your club is measured for Lifetime as well as 1, 3, 5 and 10 year periods.

Near the top right-and corner of the report, you can set the end date for Compound Annual Return Calculations. This defaults to December 31st, but clubs can also set different year-end dates; the report will then show a return based on the previous 12 months from that time.

Dates and Indexes

Near the bottom of the page, you have several adjustable options:

• The start and end date of the report
• The ability to enter a custom ticker to match vs. the club's portfolio
  • This can be a common stock, mutual fund, or exchange traded fund as long as it is in the myICLUB database of North American securities (securities that are traded on the New York Stock Exchange, American Stock Exchange, Nasdaq, Toronto Stock Exchange, Toronto Venture Exchange, and selected OTC securities).
• The ability to choose from several secondary Indexes, to match your club against.

Performance Report vs Other Clubs

This section matches your club's performance vs. other clubs in our system. Your club is matched up to: All Clubs, clubs within a range of portfolio valuations, and clubs within a certain age range. As with the comparison to certain indexes, your club is measured for Lifetime as well as 1, 3, 5 and 10 year periods.

The performance comparison utilizes the club's benchmark data and compares its results to other investment clubs. Clubs are categorized by percentiles. Landing in the Top 10% means that the club's performance is better than at least 90% of other clubs; while a club in the Top 80% means that its performance is better than at least 20% of clubs.

The club's Size is broken down into categories according to the club's current portfolio valuation.

The club's Age is determined by default using the first transaction entered in the club's books on myICLUB. Older clubs can set their founding date in myICLUB's Accounting > Utilities > Update club settings; if set, that date will be used to determine the club's age.
