If you are using the Start Club Books option from Accounting > Utilities, and chose that your club has been keeping the books by hand, this is the next page that appears.

If you choose the default option of Before January 1st of this year, the myICLUB.com system will take you through a set of transactions to Record Opening Balances. This will enable you to enter summary information about the club's stock, cash and member transactions. While this is faster than entering all of your club's historical information by hand, it can still be time consuming, depending on how many years of history your club has; we suggest to have as much information on hand as possible in this case, to save time when making historical entries.

If you choose the second option, This year, the myICLUB.com system will instead take you to the Add Members page, allowing you to add new members to the club; from there, it will assume that you will begin entering transactions regularly using the Securities, Members, and Cash Account sections available from the main Accounting tab.

As with the main Start Club Books page, this page should only be used when starting up your club with the myICLUB.com system, unless specifcially advised otherwise by ICLUBcentral support
