Enabling Cookies on your web browser

For Internet Explorer In Windows 8

  1. Swipe in from the right edge of the screen (if you're using a mouse, point to the upper-right corner of the computer screen and move the mouse pointer down)
  2. Tap or click Search. Enter Internet options in the search box.
  3. In the search results, tap or click Internet Options.
  4. In the new window that opens, tap or click the Privacy tab and then tap or click the Advanced button.
  5. In the Reset Internet Explorer Settings window tap or click Reset
  6. Tap or click Close once all three lines have a check-mark next to them.
  7. Restart your computer, and try the web site again.

For Internet Explorer In Windows 7, Vista, and XP

  1. Exit all programs, including Internet Explorer.
    1. If you use Windows XP, click Start, and then click Run. Type ' inetcpl.cpl ' in the Open box, and then press Enter.
    2. If you use Windows 7 or Windows Vista, click Start, then type ' inetcpl.cpl ' in the Open box, and then press Enter.
  2. This will make the Internet Options window appear.
  3. In the new window that opens, tap or click the Privacy tab and then tap or click the Advanced button.
  4. In the Reset Internet Explorer Settings window tap or click Reset
  5. Tap or click Close once all three lines have a check-mark next to them.
  6. Restart your computer, and try the web site again.

 

For Mozilla's Firefox:

  1. With the browser open go to the Tools menu, and select Options.
    1. If you do not see a Tools menu, click the Alt key on your keyboard to get menus to show up.
  2. From the top of the Options window click Privacy.
  3. In the History section, make sure the drop-down menu next to Firefox will: is set to Remember History.
  4. Click OK.

For Apple's Safari:

  1. With the browser open go to the Edit menu, and select Options.
    1. If you do not see an Edit menu, click the Alt key on your keyboard to get menus to show up.
  2. From the top of the Options window click Privacy.
  3. In the Block Cookies section, make sure to choose either From third parties and advertisers -or- Never.
  4. Close the window to save changes.

 

For Google's Chrome:

  1. With the browser type the following into the address bar (not a search box), and then click Enter on the keyboard:
    1. chrome://settings/
  2. In the Search Settings box near the top right-hand corner of the page, type cookies, to narrow the settings.
  3. From the settings that show up, click the Content Settings button.
  4. On the window that comes up, make sure that Allow local data to be set (recommended) is selected, and then click Done, at the bottom right-hand corner of the window.
  5. Close the settings window, and then re-start the computer.
