Resetting Internet Explorer is a good place to start; it turns off (but does not remove) any extra toolbars that may have been installed, as well as resetting Internet Explorer to it’s defaults.
To do this:
1. Swipe in from the right edge of the screen (if you're using a mouse, point to the upper-right corner of the computer screen and move the mouse pointer down)
2. Tap or click Search. Enter Internet options in the search box.
3. In the search results, tap or click Internet Options.
4. In the new window that opens, tap or click the Advanced tab and then tap or click Reset…
a. Note: Select the Delete personal settings check box if you would also like to remove browsing history, search providers, Accelerators, home pages, Tracking Protection, and ActiveX Filtering data. This is not usually necessary, and we suggest to not select this box by default.
5. In the Reset Internet Explorer Settings window tap or click Reset
6. Tap or click Close once all three lines have a check-mark next to them.
7. Restart your computer, and try the web site again.
1. Exit all programs, including Internet Explorer.
2. If you use Windows XP, click Start, and then click Run. Type the following command in the Open box, and then press Enter:
inetcpl.cpl
If you use Windows 7 or Windows Vista, click Start, then type the following command in the Search box, and then press Enter:
inetcpl.cpl
3. This will make the Internet Options window appear.
4. Click the Advanced tab.
5. Under Reset Internet Explorer settings, click Reset.
a. Note: Select the Delete personal settings check box if you would also like to remove browsing history, search providers, Accelerators, home pages, Tracking Protection, and ActiveX Filtering data. This is not usually necessary, and we suggest to not select this box by default.
6. Click Reset again.
7. When Internet Explorer finishes resetting the settings, click Close in the Reset Internet Explorer Settings dialog box.
8. Restart your computer, and try the web site again.
Make sure the site is not listed in your browser’s list for Compatibility View.
1. With Internet Explorer open, tap the Alt key on your keyboard, and then click the Tools menu, near the top of the window.
2. Select Compatibility View Settings from the menu.
3. If one of our web sites shows up in the section ' Websites added to Compatibility View', click to select the site.
4. With the site listing selected, click Click the Remove button, and then Close, near the bottom right-hand corner.
