PERT / Quarterly Trend P/E Figures do not match the SSG / Summary Report

The P/E on PERT (also called Quarterly Trend Analysis) uses EPS one year into the future. The SSG / Summary P/E uses the P/E from the SSG. Relative value is based on P/E.

Regarding yearly EPS Figures:

The Yearly EPS figures on the PERT/Quarterly Trend Analysis come from adding up the reported EPS for four quarters; the yearly EPS figure on the front of the SSG comes year-end information reported by the company. While we normally expect these to be close, it's always possible for a company to claim a gain or a loss only at the end of their fiscal year, instead quarter by quarter.
