Setting the Date/Time format in Windows - also region and language settings

Some of our programs may not run correctly if the date and time format is not set to English(US)

Depending on the copy of Windows, the steps to set the system to use Enligh(US) as the default date will change slightly

For Windows 10

  • Click Start, then Settings. On the settings Window, click Time & Language
  • On the left-hand side of the next window, click Region & Language.
  • In the main part of the window, under the Languages heading, click English (United States), to select it. If Set as default is not greyed out, click it, to set the default language.
