When a withdrawal is entered, it may not be immediately obvious where the numbers showing up on the report came from
For a withdrawal where the Announcement and payout date are the same:
The Paid In This Date column will show the amount of the withdrawal BEFORE any fees were applied.
The Total paid In To Date column will show the result of subtracting the actual withdrawal amount, AFTER any fees are applied, from the Total Paid in just before the withdrawal.
For a withdrawal where the Announcement and payout date are NOT the same:
For the line showing 'Withdrawal announced/valued'
The Paid In This Date column will be the same as the Paid In Plus Earnings figure
The Total paid In To Date column will show the result of subtracting the Paid In Plus Earnings figure from the Total Paid in to Date before the withdrawal was entered.
For the line showing 'Withdrawal paid':
The Paid In This Date column will show the amount of the withdrawal BEFORE any fees were applied.
The Total paid In To Date column will show the result of subtracting the actual withdrawal amount, AFTER any fees are applied, from the Total Paid in listed on the previous line.
It is important to note that NONE of these figures is the capital gain for the member. This can be calculated by subtracting the Paid In Plus earnings from the actual amount of the member withdrawal, AFTER any fees have been applied. This number will also show up on the member withdrawal report.
