Editing or deleting a valuation

The Edit/Delete Valuation page can be reached by going to Accounting > Securities > Edit/delete existing valuation.

The frst step will be to choose the valuation that you would like to edit or remove. Step 1 gives a drop-down list of the club's valuations; use this to choose the valuation you would like to Edit or Delete, and then click either Edit or Delete.

Step 2, Editing or Deleting: If you chose to edit the valuation, Step 2 will take you to a page that resembles the 2nd page you would see when creating a new valuation. From here, you can edit any of the stock prices.

Once you have made any changes to the stock prices, click Submit to save the changes and go to the Valuation confirmation page, Cancel to return to the Accounting Securities page, or Reset if you realize you've made errors in the price changes.

Or, If you choose to delete the valuation, you will see an alert screen letting you know that removing the valuation will have an effect on unit value, and the number of units in the club.

Note, this means that if the valuation is deleted, the accounting system will automatically re-calculate unit value, and the number of units in the club. If you are deleting a historical valuation, and are not planning to replace it, be aware that any valuations that came after the one you are deleting, will be different the next time you look at them in the reports section.
