THE LATEST NEWS ON
INVESTING SOFTWARE BUILT BY ICLUBCENTRAL INC.

As of October 16th, 2006, support for NAIC Club Accounting version 2 (NCA2)
will end. By this time, all Treasurers must upgrade to Club Accounting 3 (CA3) or Club Accounting Online (CAO).
What Does End-Of-Support Mean?
It means it is past time to upgrade your Club Accounting software. If you
continue to use NCA2 after the deadline:
- You will not be in compliance with accounting and tax regulations
- You will not be able to get replacement disks or downloads
- Technical Support will not be able to answer questions on NCA2 beyond
helping you move your data to Club Accounting 3 (CA3) or Club Accounting
Online (CAO).
Why Is This Happening?
It's the best use of the team we've got. We'd rather spend our time
improving our software and making the changes you request than making older
software work for increasingly outdated versions of Windows. Plus, with
Windows Vista coming along, we'll have our hands full making sure all
fourteen-plus of our products make the transition flawlessly.
Companies normally stop supporting an old application one year after the
release of the new application. We've pushed it out to the day after the
last extension date for your 2005-2006 taxes, just in case.
Which Should I Buy - Club Accounting 3 Or Club Accounting Online?
You must use Club Accounting Online if...
- your computer is running Windows 98 or Windows ME
- your computer is a Mac
...but you'll want to use it because you can...
- Access the software from any computer with Internet access - use it from
home, the library, or work
- Give Members their own account, allowing them to view reports, read files,
and download their taxes
- Share up to 20 Mb of SSG's, meeting minutes, Bylaws, pictures and more
- Coordinate through a shared Club Calendar and your own message boards
Choose Club Accounting 3 if...
- your computer is Windows 2000 or Windows XP
...but you'll want to use it because you will...
- Never miss a step with time-saving Wizards that walk you through common
tasks
- Get the help you need quickly with context-sensitive help menus
- Read reports any way you like by exporting to Microsoft Word, Microsoft
Excel, or Adobe Acrobat Reader.
- Never run a manual audit again - the software automatically audits after
each transaction.
- Never download an update again - the software automatically downloads
updates.

A Personal Note
I get a few calls each week from clubs that are still using Club Accounting
version 1. They're out of compliance. Their books are off. They're
panicking. They want to know why they can't keep using their old software.
I tell them that Club Accounting software is like going to a personal
accountant. If they keep up with the tax laws and regulations, they can be
very helpful. But you wouldn't go to an accountant that hadn't read any
publications since 2000. For one thing, they'd think that Mid-Term Capital
Gains still exist!
As the Treasurer, you're responsible for maintaining your club's books.
Your club is responsible for getting you the tools, training, and support to
do your job. You need to upgrade to Club Accounting 3 or Club Accounting
Online to do your job.
A free demo copy and more information is available on the ICLUBcentral web site. Upgrade to the power of Club Accounting 3 today, or learn how you can get a $100 cash rebate on your upgrade purchase from ICLUBcentral and TDWaterhouse.
