Toolkit displays an error starting with -2147 -OR- 3343

This is an error generated when Toolkit tries to work with a file in Windows, and that file is either missing, or for some reason not working correctly. This can be tricky, since there's a chance that it's not a file we install, but one that Toolkit assumes will be present as part of a standard copy of Windows.

Usually the easiest solution to this issue is to make a backup of your Toolkit information, remove the current copy, and then download a fresh copy from our web site.

If your copy of Toolkit can still be opened, please see FAQ 252 at:

If your copy of Toolkit cannot be opened, please see FAQ 253 at:

If this does not work, please refer to FAQ 305, Registry Cleaning -or- Registering a .dll or .ocx file.
