Near the end of 2014, Walgreens (WAG) Completed a merger with Alliance Boots, and then changed both the company name, and ticker symbol. The new company name is Walgreens Boots Alliance, and the new ticker symbol is (WBA). Based on information from the Investor Relations area of the Walgreens site this does not require a merger transaction for Walgreens shareholders; shares were exchanged on a one-for-one basis, and the company is still headquartered in the United States. However, this will require at least a change in the name and ticker symbol for Walgreens shareholders.

In addition, some clubs may have been charged a re-organization fee. If that is the case, the fee should be entered as a negative return of capital.
On the myICLUB.com web site, go to Accounting > Securities > Cash Dividends.
From the Type menu, select Return of Capital.
Enter the amount of the re-organization fee as a negative number
